Journey to a Healthier Life
I've been on the weight roller coaster ride much of my life, beginning as a teenager. I've had success with several different diets, but the weight always comes back on because I don't make the lifestyle changes for keeps. The last time I lost big (60 pounds) with Weight Watchers, I kept the weight off for over a year, but let the stresses of life lead me back to eating.

My Goals:
My goal is to be healthier so that I can live long to enjoy my family. (There are also all of those books waiting to be read!) I want to lose 30 pounds.
My Program:
Will be starting all over (once again). My plan is to eat 1200-1300 calories a day and to add exercise into my daily routine.
Personal Information:
I am in graduate school earning a Master' s in Library and Information Science. When I have spare time, I love to spend it with family. I also love to read (Dean Koontz, James Patterson, Sue Grafton, Patricia Cornwell, and other suspense writers) and to garden.
