Booklady's Place
Welcome to Booklady's Place. I have recently gone back to eating totally vegan. Vegan eating seems to make me feel better and I have lost 5 pounds. Welcome to Booklady's Place. I have recently gone back to eating totally vegan. Vegan eating seems to make me feel better and I have lost 5 pounds. My current favorite diet book is Dr. Fuhrman's Eat to Live. I'm also following Dr. Neal Barnard's Program for Reversing Diabetes. I'm also looking at the Flat Belly Diet. They don't work together really well as Dr. Barnard's program says to avoid avocados, olives, and oils. The Flat Belly diet includes avocados. oils, and olives as part of the five recommended flat belly MUFAs. My intention is to follow Dr. Furman's program since I want to be able to give up some of my meds, as well as gain a flat belly. Later, when I have succeeded in losing 40 pounds, then I can look at the flat belly diet as part of maintenance.
