This was me at my sister's wedding a couple of years ago. I thought I was huge then. Little did I know that more weight was on the way.

With my DH (doesn't he have pretty blue eyes?) at a dear friend's wedding this weekend. Fun times!

How bad do you want it?!?!
Judging by the number of times I have had to change my starting weight, not bad enough. I will start asking myself this question every time I want to raid my neighbor's candy dish at work, turn the car for home rather than the gym after work, and every time I wander into the kitchen in the evenings. Bah! I am a 30-something whose metabolism has packed up and moved away! I need some help and motivation to be consistent with healthy habits to avoid my family's diabetes and obesity ...

Personal Information:
I live in South Texas where gooooooood Mexican food is all too accessible. Luckily, the sunshine is equally available and robs me of reasons to stay inside and avoid exercise. I really hate to run, but am learning to love it as I am not interested in joining a gym at this time.

I love to quilt; it keeps me from going to pieces...
