Hi, I saw your post on the P90X team page about not being able to fit into your jeans 3 weeks into the program. That is pretty normal, especially for women. I'm on the 10th week of P90X currently and in the first few weeks of the program, I saw my weight jump up a few pounds and my measurements went up.
Its because you are working your muscles and in order to repair, they retain alot of water around them as well as swell up.
Wait until the end of the first month, after the entire "Recovery" week and you will see that the lbs come back off as well as the extra inches everywhere.
But beware, each time you start a new phase of the workout, the water weight will come back on. I have stopped weighing and measuring myself during each month and wait now until the end of that 30 day stretch. It has helped with my frustrations of dealing with the higher numbers!!!
