After trying different diet programs and exercise groups, I've finally realized that to lose this weight and become healthier I need to combine good nutrition habits with a well rounded exercise program. I have joined a gym, hired a personal trainer, joined SP and I'm on my way....

My Goals:
I want to lose 150 pounds (half my body weight) but I want to do it slowly so it will stay off this time. I would also like to change my eating habits for both myself and my family so we have a healthier lifestyle.


My Program:
I've joined SP for support and encouragment from others that have been in my shoes or are currently going through the same struggles as I am. I've also joined a reputable gym and hired an energetic, caring personal trainer. Carolyn is helping me with both of my goals. She prepares my workouts to fit what I am currently able to do and changes them as my abilities increase. I track my daily food intake and monitor the number of calories that I am consuming through the day. Carolyn reviews these sheets with me at each work out and makes suggestions if necessary and praises me when I've done a good job. My husband, Blake and all my children are all being very supportive and encouraging with this new journey I have embarked on.

Hi, my name is Deb and I am 48 years old. My husband is Blake and we have 4 lovely children, a grandson and another grandchild on the way (due August 2010).


Other Information:
I love to listen to music; anything from the great classics right through to the current music genres. My husband and I have attended a number of concerts in the last few years including The Transiberian Orchestra, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Metallica, Collin James, Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, and Kidd Rock to name a few. We also like to go to live theatre and have recently seen The Jersy Boys, and Mamma Mia to name a couple.
