Continued Journey

I am a 51 year old grandma of 7 who was told almost 3 years by the Lord to stop sugar. I did that and went from 204 pounds to my present weight of 153. (I was 146 but gained a few pounds back) My goal weight is 140 pounds. I just need encouragement to continue on the journey set before me and not compromise my health for a moment of self satisfaction. Even though I have not had any refined sugar as far as pop, baked goods etc, I have had foods with sugar. I believe I am to not have sugar ...

Even though I have not had any refined sugar as far as pop, baked goods etc, I have had foods with sugar. I believe I am to not have sugar at all!!! when I did that I was blessed, when I started adding my own rules, which were not allowing sugar with more than 5 grams, I started going in the other direction. I truly truly want to be a blessing to the Lord and be obedient. Now I need support to get off diet pop and refined products due to allergies, mold and yeast.

Just dropping by to encourage your to keep moving today! Stop by and let me know how your fitness routine is progressing! I hope you are meeting or exceeding your April aspirations. Step it up today. If emoticon weather is keeping you indoors, perhaps try the following suggestions:

emoticon Treadmill --- raise that incline a bit and the speed too!

emoticon Do a DVD --- there's a wide variety of exercise choices!

emoticon Even shopping --- do an extra lap or two around the mall!

You'll be glad you did when you read those lower numbers on the emoticon

Hello there, I love your color, and your grandbabies are so cute! I salute you for working on reducing/cutting out sugar. I know what a struggle it can be in today's world, but I also know it is possible. Do you use sugar substitutes or would you rather stay away from them? I have chosen to substitute splenda as much as possible. When not, I try to just stay away from it. I have found myself feeling so much better! Hope your holiday was blessed and you have a very good week! emoticon
