NEW YEAR, NEW DAY, NEW START!

I cannot tell you how many times I have been here, started, quit, started, quit, started quit. Some of you know what I am talking about. Well I have heard never give up! So here I go again. We have a program at work with Weight Watchers. They will pay your fee if you meet your goal of loosing 5% of your body weight in 12 weeks and exercise at least 3 times a week. It is hard not to take advantage of that. Five percent will make you feel tremendously better, and your knees, hips, feet ...

Not to eating in the car

My Program:
Starting each day with protien. I am a calorie storer so I have to eat my larger meals in the a.m. I want to keep the carbs at around 50 per day. Trying to walk everyday, even if it is a short distance as I think consistancy is more important than longevity. I have to put prayer into it everyday and be proud of the lb. I lost and not grumble about the 99 I have to go. Someone famous once said "Progress is Slow"



Trying to meet and talk with other Spark People.



Eat vegetables and fruit instead of candy, cookies and chips.



Cook for myself instead of eating out.





No food after 9:00p.m.



No Eating in the Car



Try to walk at least 2 blocks a day.



15min. of calacentics 3 times a week.

Personal Information:
Born 1948 born and raised in Des Moines IOwa. I work for our county hospital as a telephone operator, and live in Altoona, Iowa just outside of DM. I have a large yard and love to garden and raise beautiful flowers and vegetables. I lost my significant other last June, not looking forward to the anniversary, but it is a year down. Still hurts but not as bad. Kenny is gone but never, never, never forgotten. I have two grown daughters and one son, and two grandchildren. I love to travel, I love to go to the casino, and I love get togethers with close friends and family. BBQ's and family dinners. I love people and I am a mingler. I know very few strangers.
