So it looks like I'm going to be in my 30s this year whether I like it or not...
After looking back on my twenties & realizing what a disasterous waste of time it was, I've decided that I need to make a change & I need to make it now! I'm determined to live my third decade in a positive direction so that it can be the best yet!
Every month, I write out 5 goals that I would like to become habit. When a goal is achieved, I award myself 20 minutes of TV time.
1. 8 glasses of water.
2. Eat within my limits.
3. 30+ mins. excersize.
4. No food after 10 PM.
5. Declutter something.
Having rewards to look forward to keeps me motivated...
My Current rewards:
7 days goals met= 30 min massage
14 days goals met= fun night out
21 days goals met= item on wish list
28 days goals met= concert tix
(this allows at least 2 days "off" a month)
I'm a nursing student, worker bee, daughter, wife & mommy of multiple fur-babies.

Happy Thursday! The difference between ‘try’ and ‘triumph’ is just a little umph! I hope you are keeping your eyes set on your goal and working towards it. The groundwork of all happiness is health, When you’re healthy, you’re happy. When losing weight, improving your health should always be your first goal, because good health will see you through to the end. Weight loss through diet and exercise is tough, it does get hard, but when you exert every ounce of will power and self control, you will persevere.

Well it is the end of another week. Enjoy the weekend and relax a bit! I know that this time of year people have some spouts of seasonal depression, and it makes us want to eat things that make us happy, most of those foods are not healthy. Stay on track with your goal and know we are not alone in this, many struggle with depression eating. And with Holidays it is hard to turn away from all the good foods being prepared as tradition. But with will power and faith we can do it. Think small portions, And if you must have the sweet taste that is full of unhealthy calories, taste is the key word. Keep strong, keep on pressing to your goal!

Well the weekend is here. Let us not forget that we need the rest from a stressful week. But do not loose focus of our goals. Keep on eating healthy and drinking the water. But have fun on the weekends, there is lots of fun activities that we can do that still promotes weight loss. Have a Blessed weekend!

Well it is Monday yet again,I I hope you were able to get some relaxation time in for yourself, without loosing sight of your goal. I hope you have a great Labor Day! It is time for holidays to start coming back to back (it seems) and If you are like me I love to eat a lot. Well here is a few ways to help stay on track, Use a white smaller plate you will thank you have filled it up and actually be eating less then if you fill up a colored larger plate. Remember drink plenty of water and keep on exercising!
