Getting Healthy

I'm a retired, active, and healthy 50+ year old. Over the years, my weight has crept up. In the past, I could cut back a little and would lose weight. Now, it's much harder. A couple of years ago, I lost about 30 pounds on a low carb diet. I don't think that is the healthiest choice for me now. I need to learn to eat better everyday, not just during a time of "dieting." I'm here to lose weight, get healthier and develop better habits for life!

I love being outdoors. Give me sunshine, and I am motivated! I enjoy swimming, boating, water skiing, hiking, and fishing. I like to play guitar and sing. And, I like to read. I want to stay fit and in-shape in order to have the energy to play with my absolutely adorable grandchildren. They are truly my motivation!
