My favorite passtime is backpacking in the mountain west, next is skiing. I want to be a little lighter on my feet so I'm not the last one making it up the trail....my backpack typically weighs 50 pounds, what a better way to lighten the load than from my own backside!!

I am now looking at what exercise I may enjoy and achieve more fitness that does not flare up neck pain. I underwent a fusion, my setback started a full year before the surgery though as my symptoms were challenging to pinpoint for a time. Now I am out of shape and w/ a finicky neck, so going to ease back into fitness. Nutritional changes will be a huge factor for me to be successful w/ the weight loss.
