WHEW it has been a crazy few years! I am not even sure where to start!
Short Story: Joined Spark 7ish years ago and lost 80+ pounds. Kept it off for a few years. Was super active ran all the time, completed 2 full marathons, a bunch of half marathons, and tons of other crazy races. I hiked all over AZ and kept insanely active. Then fell into a crazy (not bad, just crazy) time in life. [Don't we all at some point?] I lost my job, met an amazing guy, got a great (buy very busy) new job, moved in with said guy, married guy, got a dog, got pregnant, put on lots of weight, had a baby via unplanned c-section, didn't take off the pre-pregnancy weight, got pregnant again, got really sick with a food borne illness, lost the baby, and that brings me to now...recovering and trying to get healthy so we can try to get pregnant again. Except for the obvious miscarriage and the illness I've been very happy. I have a wonderful hubby, an awesome, crazy, fun, beautiful 14 month little man and a great job. I'm just missing the being healthy part and taking care of myself. Through all that I stopped tracking my food, let life get in the way of working out, and I didn't make healthy changes to my lifestyle to allow me to succeed through all those changes. It's time to make some time back in my life to take care of me....that starts now.
Why Operation Wedding Ring?: When I was 6 months pregnant with my son I had to take off my beloved ring due to incredible swelling. I struggled and didn't take off the weight after he was born and much to my dismay my weight has prevented it from fitting again. I had to buy a cheap replacement but its not MY ring. My first big goal is to be able to wear my wedding ring again.
I want to run again.
I want to work out regularly again.
I want my wedding ring to fit again.
I want to MAKE time for me again.
My main goal is to find balance being a working mom, a wife, and an active, healthy person.
Currently I am tracking my food. I have to be very careful with what I eat right now due to some problems with my digestive track.
I need to MAKE time to workout. I have a spin bike and plenty of workout videos...just need to make it happen.
I call Phoenix home and really love the sunshine and the clear blue skies. I have a wonderful husband and 14 month old little man that is the light of my life. I love to travel and stay busy. When it's cooler out I like to hike the local trails.

Hi! Remember me? It has been awhile!! I am just getting back into it again too. It sounds like you have been through a lot since I last talked to you. Happy to see you on here again and getting motivated. I stopped tracking for awhile, thinking I could do it on my own. But that didn't work and only added 20 pounds of weight back on my body. It is much too easy to gain weight! I am ready to take it off again. I started walking again and feel so much better. We can do this!!!

You go, girl! Funny you say that - I've been thinking about the vision board, too. I made one back in the day but it was kind of lame. For my master's class I have to do something similar, so why not? We can't wait for your wedding!
