Hi, I'm a 48 year old mother of three lovely children, Timothy 15, Abigail 12, and Lizzy 9. I am a Christian who loves to write/compose music as well as draw and paint. I use my talents by leading worship in our church as well as doing arts and crafts with my children.

Being a part of Spark People has inspired me, helped me to meet people with a desire to become healthy, and been a source of many good friends.

I lost 55 lbs after my last pregnancy, but gained all the weight back on while being pregnant with my 3rd child. I struggle continually with my weight but want to be healthy for my children. I will not give up the Battle.

I would love to get down to a healthy weight of 155 with a BMI in the Normal range.

Goal #1 - March 2018
Weigh 200 lbs
Goal #2 - May 2018
Weigh 190 lbs

My Program:
I am a Carb addict. Every program has failed to show results except the Ketogenic diet. I plan to go on this for a year and stay low carb (not Ketogenic) the rest of my life.

Am reading encouraging articles on a daily basis

I am from Washington state, but have lived in St. Petersburg Russia for the past 17 years. I am happily married with 3 beautiful children.

Other Information:
I love to read and watch movies - Love the John Grisham novels.

I also play the piano for our church here and lead worship in Russian - a most difficult thing to do when it is not your native language.

    Thank you for the email on joining the SP Class of December 2-8 2007 Team, although I realize it was sent automatically. Apparently you are no longer active yourself.

    I am interested in becoming the Leader, but only want people who are active, so if you are not active, perhaps you would consider deleting yourself as the Leader and also as a member. If you wish to be active, I would welcome the help.

    I am trying to exercise regularly. I have been riding the recumbent bike for 30 minutes, resistance varying from 1-5 and speed from 10-12. I also try to get a minimum of 15 minutes on the treadmill. That is more a work in progress. Having second knee done in October and planning on a trip to Croatia in March. Hope all is well with you!! emoticon
