    Hi Bob.
Thanks for adding me as a Sparkfriend. I've just added you as well. At first I was wondering who you were, then I saw you're TamiP's husband. The one with the A1C of 5 (FIVE!!!). Wow. Congrats! That's really amazing.
You guys are doing great. Sounds like you're really motivating each other, which is a big help. I pretty much have to drag my husband kicking and screaming. Ha. Well, he has at least been walking daily for a few months so that's a good start. It's made a huge difference with his knee and hip pain. Like your wife, I've noticed things like feeling better and not having heartburn and reflux. And like you, my A1C has improved - currently 5.5, which is the best I've had since being deemed a type2 diabetic. So much better medicating with good nutrition and exercise than with pills any time that's an option.
Best of luck to you both as you continue on your health journey. I'll be cheering for you!

Sure sucks to be a diabetic when you are trying to lose weight. It takes so long to get the weight to drop. Lost 2 pounds in two weeks know matter how hard you workout and eat the right foods,

The Institute of Medicine advises that men consume roughly 13 cups of water a day, and women need about nine cups a day.
