A Spark to Keep Me Focused on Eating Healthy and Exercising
I applaud anyone who is looking to make themselves a better person. Keep fit physically, mentally and spiritually! Fitness Bio: I grew up in Smithfield RI. I was always strong, but on the skinny side. I played league soccer, did track in Jr High (discus and shotput) and high school (pole vault). I applaud anyone who is looking to make themselves a better person. Keep fit physically, mentally and spiritually! Fitness Bio: I grew up in Smithfield RI. I was always strong, but on the skinny side. I played league soccer, did track in Jr High (discus and shotput) and high school (pole vault). I also wrestled in high school and came in 3rd in the Freshman State Championships. I enjoyed my opportunities to train with weights and machines in High School. My greatest workout was cutting down trees, splitting and selling firewood. I am an Eagle Scout and always enjoyed hiking and being outdoors. I have always loved sailing both for leisure and competitively. I went to the Coast Guard Academy and hit the gym hard with my buddies there. My weight and size increased as I grew stronger. After graduation I went to scuba school in Coronado and spent 5 weeks with the 1st Recon Marines. I was in the best shape of my life. I did three tours aboard Coast Guard cutters (BASSWOOD in Guam, WESTWIND in Mobile, AL and NORTHWIND inWilmington NC). I kept up with my lifting, increased my running and played volleyball whenever I could. I wound up in Washington DC at Coast Guard Headquarters. I continued in the gyms here both at work and at my apartment. I swam, played tennis and did aerobics as well as continued my sailing. I dated a girl who loved biking, jogging, tennis and being outdoors. We married and had 3 children. With them I have enjoyed helping them practice, football, baseball, basketball, soccer and lacrosse. I sailed for a while. I played tennis and biked when I could and continued to workout at work, gyms and home.

My Goals:
