A Better Year

My name is Bobbie Jo and I have 3 amazing girls. I want to show them that we can live healthy lives and eat the right foods. I also want to show them that I can become a healthier person and exercise with them. My main goal is to run a 5k this summer.

Well I reached one goal this summer - I have ran 6 5k's and I am satisfied with that but now I want to improve my time - My mom still kicks my butt :)

Thanks for the add, Bobby Jo! That's the name we were going to call our 2nd daughter! We named her Barbara Jo, thinking we'd call her Bobby since that's my husband's name, but we never did. She became Barbie and stayed that way! Nice to meet you and congrats on setting a healthy example for your kiddos! I have 5 myself and have never regretted getting in better shape. They saw how I was vs how I am now. More is caught then taught, as they say! Stop by my page and leave me a note! Let me know how your next run goes! I'm dying to get out on the trail myself!

5 5K's in one summer is amazing!!! emoticon Just keep running and working on your core, this will help you improve your time. I ran my first 5K in 38 min I think back in Oct, 2010 and my last one Oct 2012 was 25.09 min. You can do it!!
