Well, they did ask me to enter a title, and that''s what popped into my head. I'm 35, and I''m a stay-at-home mother of two little boys. For as much as I clean up after them, garden, and do Mount Laundry, one would think I'd be slimmer.

I've been overweight since a year or two before my first son was born; about nine years. I lost 35 pounds in 2008 by cutting calories to about 1,000 a day (that was very hard), but gained it all back after a momentous move across the country. Ugh! So, I'll try going slower this time, and maybe I can change my lifestyle, permanently. My husband is a pretty slim guy, so it's difficult for both of us: he wants to be active with me, but I feel horrible about how much better he looks at 35 than I do.

My main exercise is walking. I love to walk! Running: no. The gym: whirling dervish. I hate exercising. I'll stick to the streets of the suburbs. I don't make time to work out, I just do it instead of driving the car. If I need to go to the store, I walk. When school is on, I walk the oldest to and from school. It adds up. I also swim with the youngest who is four years old. It's not really a workout, but squeezing into a bathing suit twice a week can really motivate one's weight loss.

My Goals:
I'm trying to get down to 150 pounds. I've done it once, I can do it again!


My Program:
I plan to consume around 1600 calories a day and get at least 40 minutes of exercise six days a week.

I live in the 'burbs of Seattle, WA. I really need a tan, too. I'm looking a bit like Boo Radley.


Other Information:
If reading was weight loss, I'd waste away to nothing. Ask me about books, and I won't be able to stop talking.
