Day by Day - One Step at a Time!

I am 29 and have always struggled with being overweight and all that comes with. I have lost count of all the times I have tried to lose weight, to make a life-style change. Normally, I will lose about 15 - 20 pounds at the beginning, but it never fails that something will arise and I will gain all the weight back and then some.

For a dream to come true, I need to shred the pounds. This time I need to succeed...I will succeed, but boy do I need help. I'm not good at making goals ...

For a dream to come true, I need to shred the pounds. This time I need to succeed...I will succeed, but boy do I need help. I'm not good at making goals and keeping them. It is easy for me to see and want the BIG goal but the steps to get there are what get me. My BIG goals is to lose 50+ pounds, become healthy, and stay that way.

You're welcome! Keep your chin up! I have lost over 60 pounds so far and it has been s l o w ! I've averaged less than a pound a week! Sometimes I went weeks without losing! Since I knew I was in this for my health and not just weight loss, it really helped me stay on track. I knew I was doing the right thing and getting healthier even when the scale didn't move, so I clung to that. One of my friends called it "practicing maintenance" so that was a good way to look at it!
Just wanted to offer you some encouragement and let you know you are not alone. You can do this!
