My Challenges from now til forever....

For the Fall Frenzy BL Grey Wolves Challenge and the Fall 5% Challenge

My goals are

1. Be down at least 7.5 pounds by the end of the Fall Frenzy challenge
2. Journal my food every day at least on paper - am on a great streak with this - 191 days as of 9/23/14
3. Accumulate at least 400 minutes of activity each week throughout the challenge starting with week 2 of the Fall Frenzy(9/18-9/24/14)
4. Keep up my streak of having at least 5 cups of ...

4. Keep up my streak of having at least 5 cups of Fruits/veggies per day - my streak as of 9/23/14 : 60 days

Each and every one of these goals is do-able and if they are to be , as the saying goes, it is up to me!!!!


Here is my ever developing strategy from this day forward and through the challenge:

1. Increase my strength sessions to 30 minutes per session, 3x per week.
2. Make a point of checking in on my challenge teams on a more regular basis -- at least 3x per week rather than 1 or no time per week.
3 Read and respond to team mates blogs when time permits.
4. Check Friend Feed and respond on a mostly daily basis.
5. Blog at least once a week on how I am progressing.
6. Become more proactive about planning healthy meals - increase from always having a healthy breakfast to planning out healthy lunch, dinner and snack choices at least 5 out of 7 days. Base line as of 9/24/14 : 0 out of 7 planned.
7. Make a copy of these strategies and goals so that I can:
8. Review this set of goals daily.
9. Keep on pushing no matter what!!!

My Goals:
My goals are simple:
Exercise consistently and reach a healthy weight.
I am aiming for a variety of exercise including but not limited to walking, Zumba for Wii, Gold Gym workout for Wii, Yoga, Pilates, Tae Bo, Kettlebells, and lifting weights for strength.

My specific goal is to reach my healthy weight 5 pounds at a time with Tuesday's being my "official" day to track that downward path. Will have other weigh-in days depending on what challenges I am participating in.



My Program:
For my Challenges :
accumulate at least 400 minutes of exercise activity weekly.

Include a variety of aerobic exercise, balancing exercises daily and strength training striving for no less than 3x per week for no less than 20 min per session.




Personal Information:
I live in upstate WNY with my husband ,my daughter and her new husband, my son recently out of the Marines, 3 dogs and 1 cat.
I do a lot of volunteering including tutoring Math for grade school and adult learners. I also sometimes take care of other people's dogs and sometimes cats.


Other Information:
I enjoy doing many things including crossword puzzles,Jumbles, playing word games and just plain strategy games on my DS, Sudoku, reading, working with plastic canvas, crocheting, gardening, walking dogs and just plain learning.

Only 1 day till Christmas

It's finally come down to one ~~~1~~~
For trying to get everything done. emoticon
I know I've forgotten emoticon
to get everything for everyone. emoticon emoticon
Some baking was overdone emoticon emoticon
The cleaning didn't get all done emoticon
