Hi ~ I'm new Sparks People . This past year has been very traumatic for me ~ I lost my beloved husband, my oldest brother and our family pet(of 12 years) all to cancer. I have been overweight all my life and have tried many diets but always fall off the band wagon! A friend sent me this site and my daughter in law and I started last Sun. Our first weigh in was today and to my amazement, I lost 6 lbs. and my daughter in law 4! She prepares all the meals (Bless her heart!) and makes sure I do not ...

I have been overweight all my life and have tried many diets but always fall off the band wagon! A friend sent me this site and my daughter in law and I started last Sun. Our first weigh in was today and to my amazement, I lost 6 lbs. and my daughter in law 4! She prepares all the meals (Bless her heart!) and makes sure I do not stray. We exercise together and she will take no excuses! We both hope to reach our goals by next fall and in my case, that means 72 lbs. Good luck to all of you in attaining YOUR goal!
