Summer Time and the Livings Easy
I am excited to be here, like most people I have tried everything and really its about time to just make a lifestyle change and quit looking for the quick fix. I have acid reflux and hope that I can change that through exercise and eating right, hopefully by seeing everyone else meet their goals I can remain motivated and on track . I am planning on receiving my diving certification soon and that means squeezing into the sausage casing that is known as a wet suit, that's my main motivation is ...
I am excited to be here, like most people I have tried everything and really its about time to just make a lifestyle change and quit looking for the quick fix. I have acid reflux and hope that I can change that through exercise and eating right, hopefully by seeing everyone else meet their goals I can remain motivated and on track . I am planning on receiving my diving certification soon and that means squeezing into the sausage casing that is known as a wet suit, that's my main motivation is to look less lumpy. May 2011 Back to streaking beat previous streaks Complete Spring Into Shape SP Challenge Begin 100 Push-Up Workout Begin strength training to continue throughout summer August 2011 9/20 Complete 100 Push Up Challenge, show off Michelle Obama guns in bridesmaid's dress December 2010 12/5 1st Half Marathon eek! DONE! 2:38 2 min. faster then goal! 12/11-18 Vacation to Boston- lot's of walking around 12/18 Start six minute morning core training New Year 2011 January 1/1 Pick a new race to sign up for and work towards DONE! 4/1 1/1 Plan out menus for week, shop a week at a time DONE! 1/5 Start working with personal trainer 1/15 Start taking aerobics classes at the gym 3x per week 1/20 Research and start yoga (I need some stress relief) DONE! 1/20 Don't become dragged down by the so eating habits and encourage him to walk with me! DONE! January Goals 2008: 1/19- Develop workout plan begin 100 push-up challenge 1/20- Blog and blog weekly, support my Kicking It! team members- done sadly defunct now 1/26- Finish Procrastination book and map out plan for semester - never finished procrastination book - is this a sign 1/31- Reweigh and review workout plan February Goals: Use Gym membership 3x per week attend cardio class-done Finish 5K program - done Cook a new meal once a week Add a vegetable dish once a week- tried it still a challenge Long Term Goals: Lower body fat to healthy range Workout consistently, wouldn't some abs be awesome Run a 5K Fit into those blue shorts Walk the Camino de Santiago in Spain

My Goals:
Be able to do 100 push-ups Walk with my boyfriend and encourage postive eating behaviors by example Incorporate more strength training along with cardio
My Program:
Spark People Bandwagon re-rider: That's right I've fallen off and actually miss working out. Begin 100 pushup challenge and complete it got to fifty last time Run 3x per week Cardio or yoga class 3x week 1 session of strenght training w/ personal trainer and lots of cooking and preparing I have let that really get out of control and have been living like a bachelor with no food in my fridge! Time to start cooking again add veggies and lots of yummy breakfasts to start the day right.
Personal Information:
I live in the DFW area and provide financial counseling for college students, which gives me lots of great stories! I love to be outside and be involved in something. I am trying to get into yoga, to destress and focus (not to mention the exercise benfits of course) I am about to run a half marathon (Dec. 5th) and hope to compete in more races soon!
