~*~My Sparks Page~*~

Hello everyone! I started my weight loss about a year and a half ago. I had gotten up to 185LB... I lost the first 50LB between Feb 2011 - Jan 2012. I stayed at 135LB for about a year. In January I split up with my husband and started over on my own, I also began the struggle of trying to loose the last 20LB! As of today, 10/24/13 I am about half way there, weighing in at 126.8 this morning. I will be 27 next week and this is the lowest I have weighed since I was 17 years old so I am quite ...
I will be 27 next week and this is the lowest I have weighed since I was 17 years old so I am quite proud of myself :-D The pic of just my stomach is a motivational picture for me, it is me when I was 16 and 110LB. I thought it would be fun to take a pic exactly like it today, todays pic is the bottom one. I basically am here to help support and encourage other people who are trying to loose weight and get a little support myself while I try so desperately to get this last 10LB OFF!!!!!

My Goals:
To wear a bikini again and feel good about it, instead of shorts and a tee shirt like I have been lately... lol

My Program:
No program really for the first 50LB, just made healthier choices and eat less when I make the not so healthy choices :-) - Now that I'm down to the last 10lb I pretty much eat about 1200-1400 calories a day and make sure I only eat carbs from whole grains and I try not to eat many carbs at all after about 2-3pm

Thanks so much for the add. What a wonderful place to find friends who understand the journey we're on. We can make it to goal and stay there ... together! I'm so glad we're here!

Have a great weekend,

Found this poem this morning while searching for some motivation, hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Anything is Possible
By Unknown

If there was ever a time to dare, to make a difference, to embark on something worth doing, IT IS NOW.
Not for any grand cause, necessarily...
but for something that tugs at your heart, something that's your inspiration, something that's your dream.
You owe it to yourself to make your days here count.
HAVE FUN.
DIG DEEP.
STRETCH.
DREAM BIG.

Know, though, that things worth doing seldom come easy.
There will be good days.
And there will be bad days.
There will be times when you want to turn around, pack it up, and call it quits.
Those times tell you that you are pushing yourself, that you are not afraid to learn by trying.

PERSIST.
Because with an idea, determination, and the right tools, you can do great things.
Let your instincts, your intellect, and your heart, guide you.

TRUST.
Believe in the incredible power of the human mind.
Of doing something that makes a difference.
Of working hard.
Of laughing and hoping.
Of lazy afternoons.
Of lasting friends.
Of all the things that will cross your path this year.
The start of something new brings the hope of something great, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.
