Doing Atkins (lowcarb) and excited!! 100+ to lose.

I am kristen from saint louis. I have over 100 lbs to lose. Am doing atkins. I have been sooo inactive for too long. I am determined to make a change in my life. i have been feeling so crappy and exhausted for too long, and with 4 yr old twins, i feel like i am cheating them of a mom that can run after them and play with them. Sooooo things are gona change! i feel like i am trapped in this body and I WANT OUT!!!

Like most of us here, you have a long journey ahead of you, try not to rush it. In your last blog you mention setting 10lb goals, that is perfect. When you set a big goal like 100 lbs, the small weekly losses don't seem that big and it's easy to get frustrated. But by setting small 10 lb goals, if you lose 3 lbs, you're about 1/3 the way to your goal! That makes you feel a lot better about what you're doing. So keep going after your goal, 10 lbs at a time and your personal journey should be a little easier, a little less frustrating. Best of luck to you.
