Too fluffy for my own good---Still :-(

I originally wrote this over a year ago, and have not made much progress since. I am hoping to get back on the track in 2010 and make some headway to my fitness and weightloss goals.

I am a stay at home mom who has not lost any of the 60 lbs I gained during my 3 pregnancies. The excuse of "baby weight" fell flat a long time ago---my baby is now 6 1/2 years old. I want to feel fit and healthy not only for myself, but for my husband and kids.

I am a stay at home mom who has not lost any of the 60 lbs I gained during my 3 pregnancies. The excuse of "baby weight" fell flat a long time ago---my baby is now 6 1/2 years old. I want to feel fit and healthy not only for myself, but for my husband and kids.

I used to me much more physically active, but now I feel like a slug. I have horses and I so much want to hop on and ride, but I feel so unfit that I am fearful. It is a big point of frustration, that I would love to overcome. I went on a women's retreat fall 2008 where we rode horses. I was terrified, but I did manage to get on and do part of a trail ride. I am going again this fall and want to be able to be confident, feel fit and have all the fun I can!!!!!

(I wrote this blog over a year ago and wanted to post it here for myself to be able to re-read.)

"You can do what you want to do, if you do what needs to be done". However goofy this may sound, this is my motto for 2009. I can reach whatever goal I want, as long as I am doing what I need to do. I can lose weight if I turn down that one candy bar, I can get fit if I go up and down the basement steps one extra time, I can become confident around my horses by just being with them and grooming them. I can do anything I want by just breaking it down, piece by piece, and doing it. I am a perfectionist "hare" in a now, now, now world. I need to become a "tortoise", going slow and steady, going bit by bit until I reach the finish line. Then I will be the winner that in my heart I so desire to be.

HI! emoticon Thank you so much for the invite and I will be adding you as well! emoticon emoticon

I hope you enjoy our shared teams! It is all about the journey, because it determines the results and if we stick with it. Life changes not diet crazies emoticon .

If it was not my walk with God I never could have dropped my 54 pounds and 39 here on SP! emoticon .

Stay in peace and peace will radiate through you and outward in your walk. There is nothing we can not hand over to God that He can not handle or welcome to take. Besides glorifying Him for all He offers us. It is all ours for the taking! As a child would take from their father a gift of love! emoticon emoticon

Besides it is just dog gone fun!! emoticon

Joy and Peace with great big Blessings of Love, Em emoticon
