Gotta Get Back into Shape
Until about 6 years ago I was so active and had a high metabolism that I could pretty much eat anything that I wanted and never gain weight, or if I did then I could lose it very quickly. Then the thyroid levels tanked and other things started going on and for the first time in my life I really piled on the pounds. It's been a Roller Coaster Ride ever since. My Goals:
I'd like to get back to serious gardening, and get back into the shape that I was in when I got my TaeKwonDo Black Belt. I've had to give up TaeKwonDo about 5 years ago because I broke my ankle. I'll never trust it again to break boards. I've started taking a Karate Class this week and boy was it a big hit on my PRIDE because it's a different Martial Art I have to start over as a White Belt. Maybe someday I'll be the proud owner of 2 Black Belts in 2 different styles of Martial Arts!! :) I've got a Beautiful Black Dress that I want to get back into.
My Program:
I'm thinking more about what I'm eating, and I want to get into a Fitness Routine that I'll stick with. It's pretty shocking how quick the calories can add up!! I do fine with the other categories but am going over a little on the Calories. I'm working hard at getting it down. It's getting lower everyday. It makes it tough when you think you're eating something good for you but find out it's loaded with calories. Good thing I've been doing quite a bit of cardio!!

My name is Leda and I live in Columbia, TN with my husband Bob and my 7 year old Grandaughter Ashlee. We've had custody of her since she was a baby. We relocated here from Ohio in March of 1995. I've got 3 adult children, 2 boys and 1 girl. My sons live in Ohio where I originally came from and my daughter lives here in TN. I've got 1 dog, 1 cat, 1 Betta (I can't believe it's still around it's old!!) 2 water frogs and a snail hangs out with them.
Other Information:
I'm a HUGE Ohio State football fan and Nashville Predators Hockey Fan. I also like the Tennessee Titans and wish that the Cleveland Browns would get their acts together. I'm an AVID reader (sometimes I read waaaay too much)
