Make it Happen

I am ready for change. I desire more health, energy and longevity! I want to lose 60 pounds and I'm going to make it happen. I read a quote the other day on SP that said, "If you're sick of starting over, stop giving up!" i love that. SP is incredible. There are so many tools here and I'm going to utilize these tools and get this weight off and be healthier.

I'm choosing three goals each day to accomplish

1.Tracking food - every day
2Walking at least 15 minutes twice a day.
3Strength training 3x a week

If I can develop these 3 habits I'm on my way to success!

Personal Information:
I am from San Diego. I work for a law firm in downtown San Diego near the beautiful Seaport Village Harbor. I am a grandmother of 7 and want to maintain my health for myself and my family. Now that I'm an empty nester, I am trying very hard to learn to take care of myself and to feel okay about doing that!

Other Information:
I love reading . I read nutritional literature of all kinds. I love learning new ways to eat - I'm 61 and grew up in a meat and potato society so now breaking away from that and learning to eat lighter and incorporating more greens in my diet is exciting. I love to cook and am learning to incorporate better foods in my diet!
