Hi! I had a friend tell me about this site and I am totally in love with what I've seen so far. I just had a baby a year ago (at 40 yrs old) and put back on the 70lbs I had previously lost with another weight loss plan. I thought maybe I could find the support and encouragement I needed here to get myself back on track. I hope to meet a lot of encouraging people and get lots of ideas from the site, and like I said, what I've seen so far is just awesome!! Can't wait to dive in and find more :)

My Program:
Going into the gym at work everyday and working out. Making a serious effort to get my water in every day and eating more fruits and veggies!!!

Welcome to Spark People! I saw your post about your slip but just want to encourage you to keep on ... keeping on. You CAN DO THIS! It's not easy for any of us or why would there be so many diet books, diet plans, ladies crying about our bodies and health? Congrats on your beautiful baby! Do you have any other children? Now, you can focus on slowly (that is key... slowly) getting the weight off by small changes that all add up to HEALTH and a slimmer you. You will need the energy to move around with your little one and want to be a good example. I agree with the suggestion of "logging" your food. You can do it right here on spark. Click start and then I think you find it under "nutrition". You can log on and enter your food and see just how much you really are eating and where you can improve. It really helps alot of women to log their food intake. We usually are eating much more than we realize and it helps us become aware of what needs to go and where we need to add more healthy items. You can do this!
