NOTE: My challenge to myself in 2012 is to race 12 races. I would love if others joined in too on my spark team for it I actually plan on making all the races 1/2 marathons.

I've never been skinny, but I have been fit. I'm looking to find that athletic fit girl again. The one who goes on random adventures and doesn't even question if she can complete it.

I work full time, do grad school part time and commute way too much. So some days I just don't feel like I have any spare time. I know I need to find that time though.

I have done the Spark with great success before (as Hockeycrew). I fractured my leg doing a 50k and fell completely behind. I'm starting over so I can really get motivated again and get back to ultramarathons.

I'm excited to get back into a routine of eating well and packing healthy food. I actually really enjoy eating healthy.

My Goals:
-Run 12 1/2 marathons in 2012
-Get back some flexibility in yoga
-Be able to keep up with my husband
-Get to a "healthy" BMI (even though I tend to be muscular)

My Program:
Slow and steady, starting with trying to get 30 minutes of cardio in every day.

Strength training or yoga daily for 10-30 minutes (call it injury prevention training)

-Eating within SparkPeople ranges.
-No meat 2x a week
-Vegan 1x a week

I live in Southern New Hampshire with my husband, 2 cats and our blonde standard poodle. I work full time as an engineer and do my Master's part time at University of Massachusetts Lowell.

My spouse is an amazing runner, he sometimes wins his age group in Ultramarathons.
