10/28/2006-
I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease and started journaling all of the foods I was eating. I then checked the calorie count of everything I had already eaten for the past two weeks of journaling and was shocked to learn how many calories and fat were in the foods I was eating. That was it and I haven't stopped journaling yet.
I have been at a weight plateau since May 2006, but I look at it positively... it means I've maintained my weight. I am hoping this website will help me to lose those last 12 pounds. Good luck to you all.
