Officer Aspirations

After leaving the Air Force in 2008 as a Sergeant I realized how much I had lost by not staying in. Now, I will be 30 when I finish my degree next Spring and am pushing hard to get my weight down to 170lbs. or 15% or less of body fat. in less than a year.

I started self training with kettlebells in 2005, trained with the Skoggs in 2009. After reaching new personal records in the summer of 2010 I was inconsistent during the 2010-11 academic year and back pedaled a long way.

Now I'm soaking up the sun in Las Vegas doing morning workouts, working and finishing school full time. I also have a pool and hot tub to help keep me loose and active on recovery days.

Hi Blitz,
Thanks for the welcome. Good Luck meeting your goals for the Oregon Air National Guard. My son went Marine Corps...he is now finished his active duty training and in the reserves. He is actually drilling now-tanks in California. Those PT goals can be tough especially when you can do them in practice but when the actual test comes it doesn't always work...over training, anxiety?!? It took my son a few attempts, but he made it and survived initial training. Thanks for your willingness to serve! emoticon

Are you kidding? Your advice and everything else is excellent. BTW - would you like to be the team leader? You know I just did it because I like ketteleblls and it was dormant for so long, I hated to see that and wanted to "pay back" SP in some way so I said I'd do it. You obviously know much more about them than I do (or will) and I think you'd be gre
It really isn't a lot of work in any way and I bet you'd have great success.

Your call. I'd love you to do it but I can continue, no problem (it's easy for me mostly thanks to you and all your advice and comments on there)

I'm traveling tomorrow so won't be online much but just let me know if you wanna do it!

Either way, thanks again for all you do!
