I try to walk, use the elliptical, and lift weights on a regular basis.
I also have learned that to do it all sometimes we need to stop and do nothing at all.
When I started SparkPeople I weighed 204 lbs. Wow. What a low or high depending on how you look at it. I held onto that weight to protect me from my fears. Well I am ready to face what's been holding me back for far to long. Good-by pounds and fear! Good riddance.
I'm a Communication Studies major with an emphasis on Public Advocacy & Leadership. I am minoring in Anthropology, Gender Studies and may include Ethnic Studies if possible. I'm a lover of justice and equality. I'm quirky, passionate, and upbeat.
Hi, funny what you wrote is how I feel! I used to obsess about logging in and scoring all the points I could and trying to keep up with recording all the fitness I was doing was taking sooo much time that I needed to realize I too, had the tools to survive after 2 years of being so dedicated to the site. It is suppose to prepare you to live life correctly not drag you down so I feel it did that for me. I like to get on to keep in touch with all my friends but that is not that often anymore but I still think about everyone and value the friendships - yours included!! =)

How are you? I'm sorry I'm not on too much. I'm keeping busy this summer. Just had three different visits with family which was nice. With the heat we were having we've been spending a lot of family time in the pool.
Thank you for the fruit salad goodie. Nice of you to think of me! I'm doing well exercising although last week I jammed my big toe and was out of it for a few days but I'm okay to exercise this week so thats good.
