Hey!

I'm a newbie to spark. Ok, so I'm not super new. I started using SparkPeople in May 2011 and stopped in mid-August (work got busy 70-80 hours/week). I haven't re-accumulated any of my lost weight, but when I stopped tracking and hitting the gym I also stopped losing.

It's now April 2012!

I'm going back to Stage 1 / Fast Break with a focus on making changes that I will be able to stick with when my life ...

My Program:
Basically trying to make lifestyle changes which include learning how to eat foods that are good for me in the right amounts. Additionally I am adding in a regimen of exercise at snap fitness which includes: Arc Trainer (elliptical only better), Treadmill, Stair Machine, and weights.

I rocked my imaginary tiara at the gym today! Thanks again! That really made my day! Today I did the arc for 30 minutes and treadmill for 40. I do my strength training at home. I literally had sweat dripping off my thumbs today after just 30 minutes on the arc. 490 calories burned in 30 minutes is not too bad! Last summer I did an hour on the arc M-F but can not do that anymore since a hip injury. I LOVE that feeling when you are DONE with your workout and walking out of the gym. I am member of planet fitness and they don't have any classes but I really want to try Zumba. I just have no rhythm or coordination so I am a little intimidated to try it.

Thanks so much for the tiara!! HA! I am going to pretend I am wearing it tomorrow when I am on the arc! I will be the arc princess! Some days the time flies by on that machine and other days I feel like I am gasping for breath and can't wait for my time to end. But, if I am a princess...it will be fun! emoticon

Just read your comment on my cybex arc trainer post. I LOVE this machine! (well, not actually when I am on it..but I love the results!) When I used the traditional elliptical my feet would go numb...don't have that problem with the arc! Glad to know it works for you too! Keep up the great workouts...800 cal in 57 minutes is AWESOME!
