I know that a quitter never wins, and a winner never quits. So with this motto in mind, no matter how long it may take, I will win my race against being overweight! Yes, just like a marathon runner, when I trip and fall, I will pick myself up, dust myself off and keep going!!!! I hated every minute of training, but I said, Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion." Muhammad Ali I feel just like Muhammad Ali's quote sometimes but when I get on the treadmill or the eliptical machines or even go outside and start walking, by the time 45 minutes or an hour is up, it is over with and done; and generally when I get started it's not so bad. So, when I know I should exercise and don't want to, I make myself do it because I know that I'll feel differently 15 to 20 minutes into the exercising bit. And by the time I am finished, I say, "Now that was not so bad was it? No. And as an extra added bonus I feel great, look great, and have lost weight and gained health in the end." 09/26/09 202 10/13/09 196 10/20/09 195 10/26/09 195 04/01/14 206 06/29/14 194 07/21/14 190 06/03/17 184

Other Information:
I have done OneStroke painting and have just taken several watercolor paintng classes from a well known local artist. I have also taken two drawing classes. At the moment I am contemplating on doing polymer clay. So I am doing some research on the subject to find out what it involves. My favorite movies are: Jurassic Park, and The Hunt for Red October. I love watching the animal channel and Project Runway. I like classical music and Christian music. My favorite book on health & nutrition to date is: You: On A Diet by Dr. Oz. It really makes sense and is the best money I have ever spent on a book.

It sounds like the perfect chair for you. Not all chairs suit all people though so I'm sure that is why they offer different configurations. My husband and I both have back trouble and chairs that suit his back don't mine. He needs strong lumbar support and that bothers me. Just as with diet there is no one size fits all. I'm sure you will love the chair.

Thanks! My neck is doing much better. I need to stop lifting such heavy things. I'm getting too old for that.

It's good that you know this. I am not allowed to do any exercises like this anyway. My doctor tells me specifically what kind of exercises I can do with my medical conditions and I stick to that.

As long as your exercise gets your heart rate to 50 – 75% of your maximum heart rate and increases your respiration while using large muscle groups repetitively and rhythmically and you maintain it for at last 10 minutes straight without rest it will be qualify as cardio. Most doctors now recommend 30 minutes a day. I have to break mine up. Too much for me at one time. I have heard there are a lot of kettlebell videos which should be fun to check out. I have never seen one.
