Hi, thanks for stopping by.

A little about me.

I'm a mid-30-something mom to an active little girl and wife to a handsome Irishman.

We've moved alot which for me equates with a lot of stress. I didn't handle the stress well and so I ate.... and ate.... and ate.... I'm now officially 25lbs. heavier than I ever was and feel yucky.

I attribute my weight issues with my health issues - I have high bp (although this could also be genetic from both sides of the family) which I want to lower obviously, amongst other 'issues'...

So I am here... again... I used SparkPeople in the past under a different name which I won't mention as it makes feel like a bit of a failure for starting again.

I am determined to do this for my family and my health and eliminate my 'big butt' .... HA!

My Goals:
1. Lower BP and get off of all medications.

2. Lose 30 lbs. by 12/31/ 2011

3. Run my first 5K next spring.

My Program:
1. To start, treadmill - 4x week

2. Gradually add circuit, classes and free weights.

3. Healthy eating

4. 8x glasses of water/day.

5. Eat lots of fruit and veggies - No Weight Watchers or other diet plans, just develop a healthy lifestyle.
