back on track! updated 2013

hi,
i have never done this before, i have tried many things over the years to lose weight, diet and exercise both, i usually do okay for about 3 months and then fall back into bad habits again and before i know it i'm right back where i started.
i was going to weightwatchers last year (2008) for a few months and lost 19kg in approximately 4 months, i then stopped going because of lack of time, tiredness due to my job - i work night shift 56 hours a week and since then i have gained ...

here i am again, back on the merry-go-round!!!

this time i am going to put a lot more effort into the exercise side of things. using a combination of everything i have learned over the years (all 21 of them) to set up a programme tailored for me, by me. it needs to fit in with my work, family, moods etc and it will!!!

STEP 1:
september 8th, 2009: starting again, mainly veges and fruit and any liquids, condiments etc

which means no bread, no meat, no pastry, flour, lollies, biscuits, takeaways

can eat any types of veges or fruit in any amount everything else is limited or reduced or eliminated

STEP 2:
september 25: gym assessment - 126kg

STEP 3:
september 28: 1st workout

AUGUST 25 - 2013

Once again, here I am - I now weigh in at 207lbs (has been fluctuating between 217lbs and 207lbs for the past couple of months)

207lbs = 93.8kg = 14.7stone

the lightest I have been in over 25 years.

I am now happier, fitter and a lot more confident than I have ever been.

I still keep a visual reminder - photo taken in 2010 on my phone to remind me of how I was and how far I have come (sometimes I show other people as they don't believe I was once weighed over 130kg).

Since December 2012 I have been doing the body for life program adjusted to suit me and my life...when I work out of town I take my resistance band pack with me as my dumbbells got too heavy to travel with.

Now I am doing the f4x workout and it's only been a couple of weeks but I can notice the difference already so finally I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!!

I am currently trying out clean eating/low carb way of eating and also intermittent fasting 2 days a week after reading about it in a magazine and checking it out online...so far so good...will update again in about a month

The Lighter Side Ladies-- Our Weekend Challenge

Remember that weekends can play havoc on your eating program. Keep the Hungries away and use the word NO. Think about enjoying some "outside" air.

You can do this. Come post how you are doing on our thread with the same name.

The weekend is over hope you did well. Are the Hungries staying away?
Do you have a mini goal for the week something to spur you on?
Believe in yourself and know that you can defeat the temptations.
Strive to do just a little more this week and take 10 minutes just for you.
Remember to smile, laugh and eat well, snack well and plan plan plan!

Easter is over and it is back to doing your routine and eating healthy and exercising.

Your lives are changing and so are you. I am proud of your progress.

You know when you falther you just nget back up and move on.

Your spirit is improving along with your attitude.

You know and believe that you are worth this and that you don't have to be fat.
