back on track!

hi, i have never done this before, i have tried many things over the years to lose weight, diet and exercise both, i usually do okay for about 3 months and then fall back into bad habits again and before i know it i'm right back where i started. i was going to weightwatchers last year (2008) for a few months and lost 19kg in approximately 4 months, i then stopped going because of lack of time, tiredness due to my job - i work night shift 56 hours a week and since then i have gained back 8kg. recently it has been starting to bother me again so here i am again trying to get back on track! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ MAY 2: 2009 here i am again, back on the merry-go-round!!! this time i am going to put a lot more effort into the exercise side of things. using a combination of everything i have learned over the years (all 21 of them) to set up a programme tailored for me, by me. it needs to fit in with my work, family, moods etc and it will!!! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ august 2007: 139kg or 306 lbs = 21.8 stone february 2010: 116kg or 155 lbs - 18 stone 2 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2009: VISUAL REMINDER 1: Photo in my wallet of myself weighing approximately 9+1/2 stone - my ultimate goal VISUAL REMINDER 2: new gym bag - kit (kete - flax bag) every 3 workouts completed for the week i earn a new badge for my kit. (when i wake up it is the first thing i see) --- I collected 8 altogether over 8 weeks - i intend on framing it at some stage as a reminder of what was 1st badge: october 2: koru - signifies "new beginnings" VISUAL REMINDER 3: DECEMBER 23: new visual reminder - a marcasite bracelet that just fits!! once i reach my goal it'll look awesome on STEP 1: september 8th, 2009: starting again, mainly veges and fruit and any liquids, condiments etc which means no bread, no meat, no pastry, flour, lollies, biscuits, takeaways can eat any types of veges or fruit in any amount everything else is limited or reduced or eliminated STEP 2: september 25: gym assessment - 126kg STEP 3: september 28: 1st workout +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Our reward is not for starting the race, it's for finishing it. It's never too late to get back in the race. You can start running again today. my goal weight wise is to get to a size where i feel comfortable and happy about myself then maybe i can move forward in other areas of my life and be more in control. FUTURE GOAL: january 2011 take up karate classes again or maybe even something like belly dancing i aim to keep moving forward to become the best i can
My Program:
updated on february 4 - 2010 minimum 6 hours sleep per day drink 6-8 glasses of water daily stick with veges/fruit way of eating keep tracking exercise daily and log in as often as possible gym 3 x a week for an hour at least - keep my eye on the end result and don't let anybody or anything let me waiver from my programme
