Besides the other comments I made on your blog, I want to add to be sure to include a reasonable safety valve in your goal for habits. Plan in generous extras at first so that you don't have some unreasonable expectation. You cannot achieve power over food in a few weeks or even a few months. It really takes about 2-5 years to have even 75% chance of not relapsing, but I think that's because people ask for too much too fast and give up. If you concentrate on the trend of decreasing the habits you're unhappy with rather than expecting eliminating them fast, the odds will be with you. emoticon

optimal thinking is a choice, my friend.
When you DECIDE that something (which is possible) is POSSIBLE for you, and you CHOOSE to make it HAPPEN...it will. The mistake I made as a young person was that I NEEDED immediate results and that the CHANGES I made were only temporary until I lost the weight...then I could live a 'NORMAL' life. End result...I never got to where I wanted to be. I didn't think eating healthy was important...I wanted fast and furious ...and ended up on a roller coaster ride that added pounds as fast as they came off.

Older and considerably wiser...I can make things Happen by choosing realistic goals and making LIFESTYLE CHANGES that are permanent. It's the only way to get to where I want to be...and more importantly...staying there.

Create Your future with every choice you make emoticon

Thanks for adding me! I love your page!! So...what keeps you busy during the day? Do you have a favorite workout?

I have a 5yr old that keeps me on my toes….a house to keep up (like all of us woman...LOL), and a full time job as a business analyst. I also own my own fitness business... which is my true passion and love!!! I get to help others by sharing with them the products that have worked for me. I also help keep them motivated and am there for them every step of their journey :-) I finally feel like I am doing something I love and have a passion for. The rewards are endless. I LOVE to spend my summers outside either doing yard work or playing games with the family. I really look forward to chatting more - Take care!

Wishing you a fit and healthy day
