May 2010...about 300 lbs....Started a lifestyle change April 2010...I'd lost about 5 lbs here!

My life starts today!!

Hi, I'm Natalie, a young wife and mother from NY. I'm currently a student and I work part time. My goals are to be healthy and physically fit.

M y heaviest weight was about 345/350 in 2002...Hated the scale so not really sure. I lost about 30 lbs sloowwwly over about 3 years. In 2005, I was about 315/320. I slowwwly lost about 20 lbs over the nexxt 3 yrs...this sloow weight loss was done by just making small changes like no white bread, egg whites, and diet soda.

Fast forward to Jan 2010, I was over 300 lbs again and just friggin sick n tired and wanted to make a change! That didnt come until April 2010! I made a decision that enough was enough....I joined Curves Gym and began increasing fruits n veggies and working out at least 3x per week. I've lost exactly 40 lbs to date...October 2010! I want to lose at least another 66 lbs! 200 lbs is my goal...I may want to go lower when I get there but 200 lbs for me is like 115 for some other people!! LOL

I will do this....when I'm not sure but I will do it!!

My Goals:
October 18, 2010: My goal is to lose10 lbs by 11/18/10.

Work out at LEAST 3X per week for at LEAST 30 mins.

I really want to firm up, so I've begun doing JM 30 Day Shred and increased the intensity at Curves. Strength Training is great and I can see small changes in my body.



My Program:
I've lost 40 lbs on my own since April 2010 (now Oct 2010). I've hit a plateau and I've stopped losing. I never really tracked what I ate, I just ate lots of fruits n veggies, 64 oz of water a day, complex carbs 3x/week, and worked out 3-5 days a week.

So, her I am at SP.com! I feel really good about this site and I will be accountable for everything that I eat! This is it!! LOL

Other Information:
I was born in Jamaica (the island) and I'm an only child (have half siblings on dad's side). I'm married almost 5 years now and I have one son, he's 11!

I'm a nurse and currently in school to furthermy career in nursing. Rough road but will all be worth it in the end...
