I joined SparkPeople back in May 2011. I was doing really well at first, losing 10 pounds in the first couple weeks of summer. Unfortunately, as the summer went on, and then as I returned to university, I completely lost track and the pounds slipped back on. I feel like I'm more out of shape then I have EVER been now, and things definitely need to change for me. I'm starting TODAY, December 26th, because I feel like everyone starts January 1st and that's just so cliche :P

So here I go! Stay tuned for progress.

December 26th - 180lbs (WHAT!! Yes, I just weighed my self for the first time since summer... this is no good)

My Goals:
My goal is to be around 140 lbs by September 1st! I want to be firm and toned for my 3rd year of university. I'm definitely focusing on my abs and legs - the two areas that I think need the most work.

My Program:
I signed up for a gym membership at L.A. Fitness back in June. I try to get to at least 4 or 5 classes a week, and I like to mix it up by trying all kinds of different classes! My personal favourite would be the "Body Works Plus Abs" class, because it's such a great workout! I also take yoga, mat pilates, step and cycle classes. I love them all and the instructors are very motivating! Oh... and every once in a while my brother makes me do weights with him too :P

Personal Information:
I love to dance, play the piano, sing, read, and of course spend lots of time with family and friends! I'm a huge goof and love to make people laugh, as well as get a good laugh myself :)

    heyyyy! lovely to hear that your back :D im pretty heavy at the moment ive been on and off track for a little bit now and the chaos that was christmas/new yrs didnt help cause i ate sooooo much haha how have you been? have you got a plan of attack?? xxx

    sorry for my delayed response! i have been a bit crook and then used that as an excuse to stay off track haha but yeah back into it this week :)
    things for me have been very up and down for me i seem to keep having little snaps and they are becoming more frequent haha i broke up with my bf the other week which has kinda helped me get back into things :) but yeah im very up and down when it comes to weight these days i'll lose 3kgs, have a bad few days and they come straight back on haha my muscle tone is a lot better tho especially my arms shoulders and legs but i just need to get the last of the belly and thigh fat off hehe

    haha thats cool i was just worried something bad might have happened and you were gone from spark forever lol it sounds like you had a weekend like mine the other week!! damn 21st's just keep slowing my progress hehehe

    3 hour workout!! wooo you go girl!! i saw in your status that your starting to try classes at the gym! thats awesome!! i've just started doing that too : )
    i actually made a friend the other morning in a class so im stoked i now have someone to keep me accountable and to train with : )
