Knowledge is power! But, my WILLpower is weak!

Well, I'm back at it again...struggling to get this 25-30 lbs I've gained OFF once again! Never thought in a million years that I would be back here again, but suffice it to say that my huge shift in lifestyle has caused me to lose my motivation for making myself a priority. For two weeks now - I've been focused & dedicated and have lost 5.4 lbs. But, two weeks is a small trip in a very long journey. I've got to self-talk myself back into what I know works! I've got to be my own ...
Well, I'm back at it again...struggling to get this 25-30 lbs I've gained OFF once again! Never thought in a million years that I would be back here again, but suffice it to say that my huge shift in lifestyle has caused me to lose my motivation for making myself a priority. For two weeks now - I've been focused & dedicated and have lost 5.4 lbs. But, two weeks is a small trip in a very long journey. I've got to self-talk myself back into what I know works! I've got to be my own accountability partner - that's why I'm back on here tracking every BLT (bite, lick or taste). I'm walking 4-5 days a week, 3.5 miles each time, tracking all my food and trying to say accountable to friends and family.

Since I now make my living from home sitting at the sewing machine, it's a bit more challenging - I'm not nearly as active as I once was. And since I love sewing and creating it makes it even more challenging to just get up and move!

That's why my walk takes place right after I awaken..no chance for other responsibilities of the day to get in the way!

I look forward to hearing from some of my old friends on here...It's gonna be a slow and gradual process (one day at a time), but I hope to get back to my goal weight within 6 months!

Personal Information:
I was born in Wilmington, DE, but grew up and raised my family in North Dakota. Once my children were grown and on their own, I moved to Texas. I met my soulmate after moving to Texas and have now been married for almost 16 years. Jerry is a spirit-filled, Godly man.

Other Information:
I have three grown children, 1 son and 2 daughters. I also have 4 grown step-children. We have 14 grandchildren and one "grandkitty". My hobbies are reading, writing, sewing, scrapbooking, genealogy, home decorating etc; My husband and I are both licensed insurance agents that office out of our home. (We specialize in the senior market).
