The 1st day of the rest of my life

I have a miniature poodle, a Tabby cat and 3 birds; Blue & Gold, A Severe McCaw, & a Quaker, and a husband who likes to cook and eat. I have had RNy surgery to loose over 100 lbs of weight and then joined Curves to get muscle mass up. I have since stopped Curves and have a Body by Jake Gravity force trainer in my home. Something else new in my life: I have a job with Walmart working in the jewelry area. I really enjoy the job. It gets me out of the house and among people again. Eight years ...

Something else new in my life: I have a job with Walmart working in the jewelry area. I really enjoy the job. It gets me out of the house and among people again. Eight years ago I drove a school bus for the local schools. I had that job for 10 years, had to quit due to Fibromyalgia and a bruised brain stem caused from an accident. I really hated loosing the job because I enjoyed the kids so much. Life is always changing and I like to think it is for the better. It helps me to stretch and grow.

My Goals:
I would like to get below 200 mark and keep it there and not yoyo up and down..

My Program:
Walking my dog and bike riding when I can. I enjoy camping and Have a camp site 3 miles from the house. There they have a pool and I can swim but I know I must not overdue or I will pay for it in the long run.

Why have you started so many diets? Probably because you are like me. I didn't have success until I came here to SP, where I have logged in every single day for the last 214 days and been honest with myself, tracking everything I eat.
This will work IF you don't quit. I see people sign up over and over and QUIT and it is so sad. This is about doing it for yourself.
If you are an emotional eater, read the book "SHRINK YOURSELF" by ROGER GOULD, M.D. He is head of psychology at UCLA. If you go to www.youtube.com and search for ROGER GOULD, you will find interviews he gives about stopping emotional eating emoticon
