Hi, joining here is my last ditch effort. I heard about SparkPeople last year but I was on the Atkins diet, & losing, & thought I didn't need it. The weight has all come back! I'm hopeless. Have decided that I need emotional support, people who maybe like me have tried & failed so much.

It's hard to believe I used to weigh 125. I want so much to get back to that.

Hi, Great your doing so good towards a healthy weight loss journey. I've, since April, started helping out another WW team as co-leader, finding interesting article to bring to them plus recipes, web sites, hints, etc. It takes daily working on keeping our attitude/ thoughts up. Just remember if you start having a bad eating day , we can restart one minute/ one hour during that day back on the wagon rolling towards a healthy lifestyle. Daily drink at least8 glasses(spaced them out) of water per day, increase fiber, cut your salt intake, increase daily 5 fruits/veggies minimum, eat more fish and chicken. Exercise minimum 3 x wkly. I've gotten a TaKE cONTROL WITH eXERCISE dvd (or video) FROM THE aRTHRITIS fOUNDATION 19.99 PLUS THEY HAVE A MANUAL FOR 2.30 THAT SHOWS THE EXERCISES. This is not that strenous for someone just starting out. Goggle under Sparks (get points for the web site) if interested for more information. You are worth getting a healthy body.

Hi and welcome to our High Blood Pressure and Cholesterol Support Teams where you will find lots of information and loads of support. Just post any questions, comment or suggestions you may have and someone will respond quickly. This is definitely a lifestyle change...and it does work!!!
Be sure to drink plenty of water and walk. Water and walking will help you on this journey of lowering numbers and weight loss.
Stay focused and keep a positive attitude as this will be a great help to you in your daily life!!! Smile although sometimes that is the hardest, but it really helps!!! And, if nothing else, it makes people wonder what you're up to.
It's good to meet and have you with us. Take each day as it comes and enjoy it to the fullest!!!
