I am trying to increase my strength and fitness level, so that I can better play at the activities that I love, without injuring myself!

Those activities include Mountain Biking, Scuba Diving, Skiing, Snow Shoeing, Hiking...and a whole slew of other outdoor things!

Hi Beth, I added you as a friend. I thought I had added you a long time ago, but then I checked, so I added you. Better late than never.

PING!! OMG, loved it too funny, great to see you looking back to old friends.
How have you been keeping? Too many Q's will ruin things. Nice to hear from you and ever cooler that you thought of me. emoticon

Wow, that's high praise. I was crying, too, when I wrote it, but not as hard as when I wrote the requiem piece for my dog, sad to say. (Whatever you do, don't read that one!)

A "non-technical" book LOL

I used to be a voracious reader. I remember reading two whole series' of fantasy novels one summer. I think it was something like 12 or 14 books that were at least 500 pages each. Now I can't focus on more than a page before I have to put it down, no matter how interesting it is. I think it'll be awhile before I can read for fun again.

Still watching the pup. Can't help worrying about him.

I'll skip muddy season too. Especially since most of the mud ends up on my kitchen floor LOL

Somehow I think the Bar would frown upon me blowing anyone up, so I guess you'll have to be on your own for that one :-)

Ugh, that cancer with your cat sounds nasty. I sure hope he's okay.

The biopsy on the dog turned up nothing. No cancer, nothing. So we still don't have an answer. The two vets who have seen him are now debating what the problem could possibly be. He responds very fast to very low doses of prednisone, which apparently wouldn't happen if it was cancer. They want me to keep him on that for the next several months and just report anything strange. So, good news/bad news scenario.

I'm ready for some spring! How about you?
