My Goals:
My Mini goals:
Goal1: to reach 80 Kilos. by march 5th. Right now I am going to focus only on that and set my weight loss tracker to show this progress.

My Program:
my exercise regime is simple...... walk for atleast 40 minutes a day. Any extra minutes would be good.
Diet plan:
Breakfast normal as in two chapathi.
Lunch--one portion salad, second portion vegetable soup/ oatmeal soup/ buttermilk. Third portion vegetables and a little rice.
Snack on fruits--orange or sweet lime.
Coffee/tea with sugarfree.
It may be difficult but try to totally avoid chocolate.

Personal Information:
I am Bindu,37, Married, have 11 year old son. I am 5 feet tall and as on th emorning of 28 January, I weighed 84.7 kilos. For my height this is too much.
I teach in a college. Being around young and fit people makes me all the more conscious of my problem. I always try to lose weight and then end up losing interest. I have made up my mind that this time around I have to do it. Wish me luck.

Every day I have planned to spend some time updatign my profile and read inspiratinsl stories here to keep myself motivated.

Happy Thursday! Hope this finds you doing well. I'm so glad this time of year has rolled around because of all the options for FUN fitness minutes - hiking, swimming, badminton, tennis, softball, gardening etc. It's a great time to be alive! Keep smiling!

Wow, those are some really great suggestions. Thanks! I have been thinking about doing one of those all liquid diets for a week to kind of shrink my stomach. I just feel like I need something to really push me to eat small portions, because I think that has a lot to do with my weight gain. I am hoping to lose 20-30 pounds in the next two months, but so far, I really haven't lost anything.

Don't get discouraged, my friend. This journey is for life, so whether you reach your goals quickly or slowly, it all leads to maintenance and a healthy lifestyle! Still I'm touched that I can be a source of inspiration to you. I like to check in and see how you're doing; I know you were having trouble with your mother in law, and I hope she sees how great you're doing!
