My Goals:
I have goals….. and would like to share them.

1. Exercise, (walk, garden, bike) 5 days a week.
2. Visit the gym for resistance exercise 1 day a week.
3. Record exercise each time.
4. Track calories 3 days a week minimum.
5. Spend time reading spiritual, motivational or poetry daily.
6. Visit the hiking trails near my home at least weekly when the trails are not ice covered.

Strive every day to be healthy, physically and spiritually. Goal weight: 20 more pounds

Fight getting depressed over setbacks.

Stay positive and focused.

My Program:
Faithfully tracking food and calories. Walking 3 days a week this winter. Will turn it up several notches in the spring and begin biking.

Deal with setbacks as positively as I can and try not to get depressed.

Personal Information:
Turned 64 this year.... (yikes) and have worked as an RN for 30 years, mostly in ER and in a diabetes clinic. 5 years ago made the career switch to teach high school. Semi retired now and continue to work part time as an RN and Certified Diabetes Educator. Married to Kathi, also a nurse, now on disability due to multiple chronic health issues, including stage 4 lymphoma, now in remission.


Other Information:
I love to garden and ride my bike. Also hiking, watching classic movies, listening to podcasts, reading poetry, listening to folk, classic rock and outlaw country music. My wife and I love spontaneous road trips.

Bill, thank you for my four leaf clover. emoticon

Our luck is twice as good, together, this September.

The month has come in with a heat wave and the hottest spell of the year. After a day to get away from the hundreds, I will be out in it, again. Humidity reigns.

We will look back,on the month with pride and progress!

Overjoyed I have a buddy on the trail, with me.
