Word for 2016.
My word for 2016 is "present." Present to do what needs to be done for my health, present for others with ways to help, present to our Creator to answer His call, whatever adventure that leads to. For me, it simply means showing up. Being there with mindfulness and focus. I want to end 2016 feeling good about my choices made during the year.

My Goals:
Goals�..yes indeed.

1. Exercise, (walk, garden, bike) 5 days a week.
2. Visit the gym for resistance exercise 1 day a week.
3. Record exercise each time.
4. Track calories 2-3 days a week minimum.
5. Spend time reading spiritual, motivational writing.
6. Visit the hiking trails near my home at least weekly when the trails are not ice covered.
7. Visit my Spark Pages every day.

Strive every day to be healthy, physically and spiritually.

Move through setbacks. Don't allow depression to interfere with moving forward.

Stay positive, focused, and 'present."

My Program:
Faithfully tracking food and calories. Walking or gym 5 days a week this spring and summer.

Deal with setbacks positively.

Personal Information:
I am in "retirement mode." I can create time for exercise and weight loss. I feel fortunate, but I also cannot say I do not have time.

Other Information:
Gardening, hiking, biking. watching classic movies. Enjoying podcasts. Listening to podcasts, reading poetry and novels. My wife and I are both retired RN's. I do a lot of volunteer work. Makes life richer.
