Ready for a Life Change!!!

I have struggled with becoming overweight since high school and have been up and down on the scale since. I made many bad food decisions after getting married and I am determined to get into a bikini. I am blessed to have a hubby that has never made me feel bad about my weight, but I'm ready to be that woman that he met all those years ago when my weight was under control. Most of all, I want to be a Mom someday who is a great role model for her kids! It would be great to get into shape before ...

I made many bad food decisions after getting married and I am determined to get into a bikini. I am blessed to have a hubby that has never made me feel bad about my weight, but I'm ready to be that woman that he met all those years ago when my weight was under control. Most of all, I want to be a Mom someday who is a great role model for her kids! It would be great to get into shape before pregnancy. I can't wait to meet the woman who has wanted to live this life as a size 6. My weakness is staying motivated over a long period and I'm ready to make a REAL life change!!!

I'm proud that I've managed to keep off 13 pounds lost earlier this year, so that gives me a little boost. This time I'm only focusing on day-by-day, meal-by-meal. In the past, I used to do all or nothing and be extreme with "quitting" all of my bad habits cold turkey. Then I'd become frustrated when I didn't see the progress after two weeks of strict dedication. This time, I'm celebrating the little successes: can I be successful for this meal? Yes, only two meals to go today. Can I be successful in these last few hours before bedtime and not snack, not go over my calories? Yes, let me find something to do to distract myself until bedtime. I've found that my most "tempting" hours are between 6-9pm, so I've counteracted that by using "distractions" and not thinking about food.
I'm hoping by setting small goals and achieving small successes, I'll win my "big success" overall!

My Goals:
Small Goal: One day at a time, focus on doing something positive towards my big goal.

Big Goal: To be my wedding day weight by my birthday this December 2014.

Main-Goals:
Work on consistency.

Small goals:
6-23-14: Starting over, blessed to be at my pre-baby weight only 4 weeks after her birth! It was my goal to only gain between 15-25 lbs. and since I did, I don't have extra to lose!

Take my small goals month by month and celebrate the progress I've made thus far.

My Program:
-Controlling my calories to around 1500.
- Tracking my food
- Eating meat, veggies and fruit mostly.
- Visualizing what I'll look like and feel when I get to my goal.
- Using photos of me back when I was at my ideal weight.
-Reading inspirational quotes to keep going.
-Reading success stories and follow people who've "made it."

Other Information:
I love Dave Ramsey! I'd like to translate my discipline on money to food...I'm working on my getting out-of-debt program.

I love reading about others' success stories, and seeing before and after photos, it is so INCREDIBLE! Can't wait to BE THERE!
