So today I volunteered to be the eighth grade class's guinea pig for their nutrition portion of their gym/health/& welness class. They weighed me today and measured me and they are placing me on a 1500 calorie nutrition plan and I have to go to the gym three days a week and exercise with their gym class. They will weigh me once a week (YES, IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE CLASS)! And our goal is to have me lose 30 lbs by the end of the semester. This equates to 1 1/2 lbs a week. They are my ...

They are my accountability partners and my success or failure will reflect upon them so I am extremely motivated to do this!

My Goals:
My goal weight is 135.

My ultimate goal weight is 115.

I am 5’1” and have a very small frame so 115 is my actual “ideal” weight according to some chart somewhere in a doctor’s office.

First 10 lbs
Reward: A Movie Night with my daughters

Second 10 lbs
Reward: A day with the boys (son, sons-in-law)

Third 10 lbs
Reward: A Date w/Husband

Forth 10 lbs
Reward: A trip to the zoo with Grandbabies

Fifth 10 lbs
Reward: A New Journal

Sixth 10 lbs
An entirely NEW outfit NOT from Goodwill but from a real store that sells brand new items.

For each week I do everything I am supposed to do I will get call my friend Tonya, because I feel like I should get a reward for being consistent even if I am not losing weight.

My Program:
AND here is how I am going to accomplish the above goals.

DAILY GOALS:

1) Do my daily Bible Readings: I just made it to the New Testiment
2) Pray daily for family, friends, & country.
3) Track my food DAILY!
4) MOVE my body DAILY - Possibly walk/run on the treadmill
5) Do ONE exercise video about 10 minutes a day.
6) Make HEALTHY food choices.


Personal Information:
I am from Ohio. I am also a college student. I am currently taking a Master's Degree in Education and doing my student teaching this year. I hope to teach High School English.

I am going to change my attitude and my body!

I am an awesome person and worthy of my own self-respect.

I will not be negative towards myself or sabotage my own weigh loss goals anymore!

Other Information:
I love animal movies like "Marley & Me."

I listen to all kinds of music including: Country, Gospel & Contemporary Christian, Opera (especially Phantom).

I love musicals like The Sound of Music, the King and I, Carousel, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

I love to read! I also quilt.

I have a dashound (weiner dog) also. I just haven't put him on SP yet. I got him 3 months ago. I am the third one to get this dog. He is really fun to play with. Max and Milo play all day. Fun to watch. Hope your Christmas is full of joy this season. emoticon

I'm glad you're back. I was beginning to wonder if you were on some fabulous trip or something. My daughter and I are doing well. She is a Sparkmember now. She works at a dog kennel, and part of her job is walking dogs so she gets exercise on the days she works. I hope you are having a great summer. emoticon
