A NEW YEAR, A NEW ME!!

I'm a 36 year old mom of two boys. I'm also married and live in Maryland, where I've lived all my life. I work full time as a geriatric nursing assistant in a nursing home. I totally love my job but it can be tiring. I'm hoping that losing this weight will give me more energy to perform my job more efficiently.

I totally love my job but it can be tiring. I'm hoping that losing this weight will give me more energy to perform my job more efficiently.

I have been struggling with my weight for most of my life. The Biggest Loser has been one of my biggest inspirations. I've been watching it religously since season 2. My two boys are my other inspiration. I want to have more energy to play and do things with them instead of being too tired and just watching them play. My weight loss journey has definately been a ROLLER COASTER ride!! My heaviest weight was 220lbs. I don't want to ever see that number on the scale again. My lowest weight was 179...but I reached a plateau and my weight has creeped up to 194...That's where I am currently. I need all the help, support, and motivation I can get to help me get to my goal weight and in return I'm more than happy to give it. I am so hoping to make some new, interesting and life long friends on here. I feel that I am alone in this journey and it would be great to have someone to hold me accountable.

Hey there...coming to answer your question about the April Walk Challenge. We are counting ANY miles walked. If its not a DVD, it has to be at least 15 minutes walked. We are also counting ANY 15 minutes of strength training. Strength training is just as important as cardio, so I want everyone to make sure they are getting credit for both. Let me k now if you have anymore questions. Good luck with your challenge!
