New Beginnings

I am a recent college grad, starting graduate school in August and looking to start and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Diets and spur-of-the-moment motivations have failed me in the past. I want the changes I make to be lifestyle changes -- so the foods I eat and the exercise I get are simply another part of my life that I enjoy and don't dread.

I used to spend a good deal of time outdoors and I'm hoping to get back to those roots. I want to be in shape and healthy ...

My Goals:
-Starting weight: 220 lbs.
-Short-term goal weight: Get under 200 lbs!
-Long-term goal weight: 145 lbs.

Other goals:
-Cut down portion size
-Drink more water
-Get outside more
-Make the most of each day!

My Program:
Watching what I eat more carefully, using my exercise bike for an hour and dumbbells several times a week.

Looking to add more structure to my "routine" as I feel more comfortable with my body and start adjusting to the changes.
