I joined Sparkpeople a couple years back and have not been on since March. I've had a up and down weight loss journey. I loose weight, then gain it, then loose again. Since the last time I was on Sparkpeople I gained another 20lbs. I'm hoping to get back to a lifestyle where I eat healthy and exercise more.

Thanks for your encouragement on my blog. It sounds as if our journey is quite similar. I joined just over 2 years ago and lost quite a lot, but then it all crept on when I stopped sparking because of family issues and problems. Now I am back on track I really want to make the commitment to lose it and get to target. emoticon

Thank you for commenting on my blog. I appreciate the words of encouragement; I can use all I can get. I was looking at your ticker and, while I know you want to get your weight down, I'd pay cash money just to be where you started. I have such a long journey ahead of me, but as my dearly departed mother (who also battled weight issues) used to say all the time "You've got to live that time anyway, so don't worry about how long it takes, just make a move in the right direction."
